    I worked in this project while I was part of the design team at Avanti. An agency based in Brazil and specialized in implementing eCommerces on VTEX platform.

Overview

Contém1g is one of Brazil's most popular makeup brands. They offer a wide range of cosmetic products from foundations and lipsticks to nail polishes and skincare.

 

Objective and Goals

The brand needed to extend its visual identity throughout its physical and digital presence. Dark colours, elegance, and interaction were the keys to bringing Contém1g identity to the digital world.

My role in this project was to bring their offline presence to the digital world, extending their customers experience.

Understanding the problem

 

After a 1 hour flight and 2 hours driving, we arrived at Contém1g headquarter, in São João da Boa Vista, São Paulo.

We spent all day in the company's main office, talking with stakeholders about the brand and learning as much as we could about the existing research and data.

Exercises used in the research: review existing data and researches, survey, competitor analysis, UX audit of the current website, and how might we.

Define the MVP

 

Back at Avanti HQ in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, I sat together with the product owner, SEO specialist, and tech team lead to discuss the problems identified.

After that, I sketched a few solutions and ideas to gather insights from the product manager and developers.
